Pardon my ignorance, but I only just realised the the the NOC to EDI BE service operations 3x weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. It seems to be going from strength to strength with an extension to all year round being introduced four months after it was announced in Dec and before the service started.
With Ryanair openly concentrating less on PIK it is missing potential customers to Scotland, and with NI's very strong links with Scotland it makes the viability of an EDI route even stronger. However, the number of potential customers from the eastern central belt of Scotland is more suited to BE than FR so I don't fear a FR move from PIK to EDI.
Here's hoping for a 3x or more weekly service with BE in the near future.
