If bmibaby are not doing the BHD-LHR for "big bmi" within 6 months I'll eat my hat. Cost base, legacy crew, overheads and all that.
That is a brave thing to say dontdoit. Very few of the predications on here since the start of the Luffy route planning era have proved to be correct. Most notably that GLA wouldn't be dropped.
It was noted over the past few days on the bmi thread that BHD is performing very well. Why change something that is working?
In regards to "big bmi" I would say we are more likely to see some of the LHR-MAN slot retainers being traded for more profitable mid-haul routes (if they can find them!) before LHR-BHD sees any major change. With the start of the summer timetable BD83 has returned to the very popular time of 0850, presumably on demand from customers. That to me shows bmi are more interested in retaining rather that dropping LHR-BHD.
