Without knowing your personal circumstances then its difficult to offer opinion. If it was me I would say no. But thats mainly because of my personal situation. With a wife, family etc, I wouldnt move country to take a job that was only offering 50 or 60 hours flying per year. Im sure it would apeal to some but for me i'd want to be getting the hours in and getting an ATPL. If the operator is paying for your TR then presumably you are being bonded for the rating? How longs the bond? If something better came up job wise during the bond period, what would you do? You might end up having to pay off the bond at 20 grand, and then have to pay for a TR(at another 20 grand) for the new job.

Maybe you could get extra freelance work on the Falcon during the downtime from the job. Depends if your boss is happy doing that of course.

Your question was 'is it worth it?' Nobody can really answer that im afraid. Its down to you and your individual circumstances.
