A complete guess from me! bmi will offer a low cost product from heathrow on the uk & Ireland flights. This will bring their domestic product in line with bmibaby, its the only way they can make the domestic operation profitable.
Tried that before (New Business Model). Didn't work. LHR overheads too high. Costs just chased yields down.
