Why did AF not like the B777F?
Mainly because they failed to check the specs properly and, mistakenly, thought they could cross-load fully contoured pallets from a B747 to a B777. While both share the same height restriction, the contour is different.
Then again, there were quite a few issues with the B777F which AF failed to realise ....
