I feel for those who are potentially threatened, should domestic routes be pulled.
However, from the recent figures quoted from Lufthansa relateing to bmi's losses, it would seem that it is imperative that bmi finds profitable routes ASAP, if it is to meet Lufthansa's 3 year targets. If they can't achieve it, then it may not just be the outstations that feel threatened.....
Clearly, something needs to be done stem the continued losses and although the risks are high with start up routes, continuing as is, is perilious!
