While we're waiting for the K1600GT to arrive in Australia, I'm riding a K1200GT as an 'interim'. And finding the handling a little different to the R1200RT that I'm so used to, especially the extra 50 horses galloping away
Yesterday's ride, marshaling for an Instructed Ride through the Reefton Spur to Marysville. Great fun, even with rain, low cloud and an overt + covert Police presence
and this is the sort of stuff the coppers get up to: the Policewoman had a laser to check traffic coming up the hill toward her, while the big tough blokes were standing the other side of the road by their cars waiting to chase anyone she pinged.
