Just flew out of there yesterday and anyone expecting to use the new terminal at Gib this June will I think be disappointed (self included) its a building site still on the inside. Speaking to staff they reckon it will be useable about September and fully open towards the end of this year.
That said, this is an election year on the Rock, so things might yet still happen
Mind you they need to get some better ground staff the ones they have are better suited to a circus. They havent a clue how to turn an aircraft round. Just as we all all turned up to board they removed the rear steps so everyone went to the front ones, then with 30 people left to board they put the steps back...cue chaos
and thats leaving out how they managed to cock up boarding the bus from the terminal.
Think they need to cross the airfield and get the RAF guys to show them how its done
