In an anarchy, certain people profit. In this case it's the people in charge. Why would they fix anything when they thrive in it? These guys are too busy making a quick buck to worry about 'national pride'. It all comes down to transparency and accountability. And right now there is a dearth of both in this country, let alone civil aviation.
I never disputed your facts. There really is no room for interpretation. The system sucks and it's not getting any better. What I took exception is to them being stated out of context to the ongoing discussion.
