RYR hate using air bridges...FACT.
They are not happy to be using them in madrid, but even the oldest terminal there uses them, so when RYR went to madrid, they had no alternative - and adjusted the turn around times accordingly (only base I believe with a schedule 35 min turn around!)
Regrading ALC, the base was fine with the old terminal, and the option of using stands with no air bridge. Now, what RYR are saying is that AENA are asking RYR to move to the newer terminal and pay for the bridges which RYR didn't want or need.
While you refer to two bases in Spain, the idea of RYR having a mentality of being happy to use bridges in Madrid, but not in ALC is simply not the case.
