Staff Travel Benefits for Unmarried/Unattached Employees
My previous and present employers have had reasonable staff travel schemes, with benefits extending to spouse, children and co-habiting and/or long-term partners. In fact, there was one chap who used the scheme to send the soon-to-be-ex-wife off on holiday with the children and take the new girlfriend somewhere nice. However, as an unmarried, unattached employee, I only get tickets for myself. Until/if I become re-attached long-term, the occasional cheap ticket for a parent or sibling would be welcome. What's the situation in other airlines and has anyone else raised this issue?
