Guys, I think the OP is asking about the SD card, not the laptop...
Even if he is, then EASUS should recover the files deleted from the memory card. I had one incident when the battery died when viewing the pics and it buggered up the FAT on the card. EASUS was able to get every single pic back.
Not saying it'll work for every case, but it's worth a try. Dunno if he has tried it but there's a free version, not a trial, which allows you 1Gb recovery at a time. Get it
