All this neurotic nonsense and scare mongering - it's great for selling newspapers and for news channel's ratings.

The BBC love a great story and never let the truth get in the way - and most other media sources likewise.

The whole "Nuclear Disaster" thing will be forgotten about in a few months (or maybe weeks), no one will die and any increase in background radiation will disappear and once again the risk from nuclear accidents will pale into insignificance in comparison to the health/environment risks from processes associated with any fossil fuel use/mining/drilling etc.

If people really want to be neurotic why not worry about things like the Union Carbide disaster in India or the amount of disgusting things that get into our food chain?
