Well, what Exeter, Blackpool and now CODA, have in common is Balfour Beatty. Obviously the rebrand is driven by them.
It'll look good if/when it changes. Furthermore, BE have a very strong relationship with BB, EXT being their home airport. Let's hope a word in the ear is given to BE and they start operating from LDY in earnest.
As for Inverness, the city has a population of ~56,000, around half that of Derry. However the airport has around 600,000 pax a year, give or take a few tens of thousands. It shows what could happen with the right marketing of LDY as a gateway to Donegal and also north Derry/Antrim coasts. (although INV has no direct competition.....ABZ is miles away!)
