If I looked at what my weight and gear was with Standard equipment carried (and this was before the days of Steyr, Helmet, Body Armour)
Self 90kgs
Webbing 12kg
Pack 50kg
SLR 3.2kg
TOTAL 155.2 KGS
= 342 Lbs
