A Cargo airline flies where the business is. I personally wouldn't care if I would not get to go to for example NY again. Still plenty of nice destinations left.
If I now would fly the 777F on the thin routes- destinations would be limited- but as far as I get it they would be used to prove routes. Name aany place not in the network yet. Buenos Aires? Delhi? Urumqi? whatever it is, it will bring again interesting new places. The 777F is great, but the advantage of having a single fleet and all pilots on 1 rating is perhaps more (cost)efficient- even if the profit per flight would be a little less.
But then again, last time i looked at my payslip I was still a pilot so I am not really qualified to judge these views.
