d105, having spent 6 years in Ryanair I sympathise. I spent most of my time there trying to get colleagues "on-side" and doing what I could to try and get some representation.
Regretably then, as now, too many had their own agenda and could only see as far as their next base request/promotion to Capt, LTC or whatever.
I am not gloating at your situation whatsoever, it was mine, and indeed what happens to you happens to the rest of us, usually sooner rather than later.
Individual acceptance/acquiescence = the collective merde you are in.
The solution is very simple, but somehow always seems to be beyond reach.
Everytime something happens, those of us on the outside think "phew, that MUST be the last straw, surely they won't stand for that".
Regretably you do, and nothing changes. I offer this as an observation, if I had a solution I would offer that too, but by the end of my time there I realised I was just doing this
