Ah, yeah I remember your post. I think that Derry really could be on the cards for one of those free slots. Naturally it would be nice to see Tuesday a bit more filled up, but if Thursday would deliver more passenger volumes that would be best.
I'm sure we'll hear something with the next couple of weeks anyway as O'Leary won't want to see the planes lingering about doing next to nout. Though Pete, I ask you as a Solihull resident, would you rather an extra rotation to LDY or a new twice/thrice weekly route to some other location?
One last point I'll make is, that PMI aircraft which wastes up to six hours of usable airtime, surely it could fit in a W rotation going BHX - PMI - LDY - PMI - BHX again. We've always been saying how that route would work out of Derry and one rotation a week would definitely be a safe way to test the market as TFS is going too. (Don't work, I don't have illusions that this will happen, be nice though!)
