Although only being an extra four flights/week, this is great news, and a vote of confidence in LDY from RYR.
Added to the increase in capacity to Stansted, and the addition of Tenerife, during the peak months, LDY will have 10 (or thereabouts) extra movements a week, from RYR than last year (plus, ten a week LDY-MAN from BE).
Fantastic news... and hopefully with BHX experiencing higher load factors at the moment that LPL we might see rotations increase there in the non to distant future aswell. We're going to be experiencing at least 1.5k extra passengers per week on last year between May and September.
Regarding the would people not rather fly from BFS than Derry. I say look at the fact 252 people per month choose BHD over BFS that also has a connection, ok the stop over is only 25-30 minutes but people made that choice and BHD is far closer to BFS than LDY.
