As an ex “Sooty”, could anybody tell me why, in the second picture, the LH burner looks just a touch weaker that the RH. Is it slightly less throttle or is it a “weak reheat curve” similar to a MECU setup on the Tonka?
Its funny you should say that about the afterburner, I can't necessarily recall, but watching vintage footage of Jaguars, taken from the early to mid-seventies, shows that one, and I believe the left-hand pipe, had in broad daylight, a weaker and therefore different colour glow? While the Right-hand Jet had orange flame, the left one had a flickering blue! And this was seemed invariably the case on each.
