May,
that is a good idea to have some extra time to prepare, also it means if anything goes wrong or needs to be re-done (pictures for example, or running out of makeup) you have time to do it.
I'm surprised by the number of people who show up to ODs completely unprepared- by taking at least some time to prepare (whather by reading forum, reasearching possible interview questions or checking your appearance) it will increase your chances.
Also, a tip for everyone attending AD/OD/FI..... KNOW YOURSELF!!! The best thing you can do is be confident and thorough in your working experience and how it relate to the CC job. Even if you have not had "official" paid job, perhaps ask friends/family if they can see some skills you have that you might not know about. You might be nicely surprised!! Just because you weren't paid for something doesn't mean it's not good experience. If you know what your skills are, you won't have to think too much about that side of things during the OD/AD and it wil lhelp the nerves to calm down and be confident
Hope this helps!!
