Just received an e-mail from DoYouSpain, the company I used to book my car at Alicante.
They are advising that when you arrive make your way to the bus staion Points 1/2 and catch a shuttle bus to Dickmanns. They reckon the journey time takes about 5 minutes.
That to me would suggest that the car hire companies will be where they always have been, opposite the old terminal.
