So we negotiate under Blue Skies for 2 years. We take a pay freeze to oil the way towards resolving the lates to earlies issue.
The result:
A very mean pay award and a worse scheduling agreement
So we ballot and vote by 80% against the proposals
The result:
The same mean pay award and the scheduling agreement returned to just better than we had before
And this is "strongly recommended"!!
Balpa has an 80% mandate to demand better pay and proper scheduling protection. Balpa CC: don't give up!! Use your mandate!!
FOs: stay in Balpa and use your NO vote.
