I sympathise with you regarding pay, but if you leave choose to leave BALPA and take your extra 1% pay you lose the ability to improve T&C in the long run. You should really be out recruiting more members and then vote NO against the recommendation and then go to the industrial action stage.
It might be a double bluff, you never know!
If BALPA has 'recommended' the members to vote 'YES' but the members actually vote 'NO' what message will that send to the management?! Just a thought.
