compton3bravo, you are right Luton is not sleepy in the sense of movements; however sleepy in the diversity of airlines / routes / aircraft. I know all of the operators offer a comprehensive route network into Europe, but is there really no demand for long-haul from LTN? Now I'm not clued up on STN / EMA / BHX but do they offer anything along the lines of Barbados maybe, or an Orlando, or a Male? If LGW is the closest alternative surely there must be a catchment area waiting to be tapped into.
