The first one you do will be the most memorable. Breaking the 'umbilical' of being within gliding range of the airfield is never to be forgotten. The first one I did was for my Silver and I can remember every minute of it. Enjoy. Incidentally, I just signed up today for my PPL so I'm going to be a beginner again too.
