Cīmon folks, get real.
Itīs not about "Germans" or "Italians", so please donīt go down that road.

The LH line pilots currently operating LHI are employed by LH and get sent down there just like on any other multiple day tour through Europe on the A320 fleets.

What perks?

The guys being trained to be capatains at LHI will get a leave of absence from LH-mainline and will be operating under a LHI-contract that is so crappy, that they had to better the pay a bit just to get enough guys to apply in the first place.
The pay is very low for a A320 captain.
It only works for "young" guys way down on the seniority/pay-list and willing to relocate.
No relocation package either.

What perks?

The pay for LHI FOs stinks.
What did you expect?
And donīt even dream about getting into LH-mainline and the contract - management doesnīt want that - it would be too expensive.

LHI is a laboratory for management (the former lady-CEO will now become the boss of the FAs in Munich, btw.) to see if they can sell (!!) the Lufthansa-brand "produced" in a "cheap-labor"-country, albeit at far lower "production costs" than in Germany.

Itīs only about spending as little money as possible.
It is not about people.

Good luck to all of you,
honestly!
