lapinepas I am fully aware that the conditions at LHI are one of the worst in Italy and unless you guys strike non-stop (or LH mainline gets in real trouble), you will never have the same salary as your German mainline counterparts. It is sad, but true. If you guys weren't much cheaper, there would be no use in hiring you. Same goes for all LH Regionals.
Therefore, LHI is mainly for young FOs that need a rating and some hours and are willing to take a risk, as it is not 100% if LHI is going to survive in the long-term. And should LHI be going bancrupt one day, I can't see any merger with EN coming. Why should there be one? Aircraft are still owned by LH, people will be fired and EN will take over some of the routes or not.
