bmi British Midland International has been ranked as the leading UK airline brand in the 2010 Corporate Reputation Index released by TNS, the leading research company.
The study ranks various organisations based on a number of key factors: their business success, favourability, trustworthiness and service quality. bmi achieved the highest score, just ahead of British Airways, out of all the airlines rated in the latest index.
bmi’s top ranking was boosted by a strong overall reputation score and success in the key factors as well as having developed a strong reputation with consumers.
Joerg Hennemann, Chief Commercial Officer, bmi, commented: “bmi is delighted to receive such a high ranking from airline passengers. To be named top of the 2010 Corporate Reputation Index in areas such as trustworthiness and service underpins the values of the company.
“By improving the customer experience and updating our product and services regularly we aim to bring maximum benefit to our valued customers and make travelling with bmi even better.”

bmi recently announced new routes from Manchester and London Heathrow to Basel starting 27 March and from London Heathrow to Bergen, Stavanger, Marrakech starting on 1 April and to Casablanca starting on 2 April.
