Outlook Express has suited my needs for years now and I still use it for managing my 5 e-mail accounts as
I want them, not as Micro$oft
thinks I want them.....
With Office 2007, I had to obtain a third party spellchecker for OE, because there's a bug in Word 2007 which prevents OE using its spellchecker.
I agree that Windows Live Mail - in fact Windows Live
anything - is an utter hemorrhoid; I tried it, fought with its abysmal functionality, then binned it. Micro$oft aren't listening - they of course know best and simply refuse to accept that they screwed up when they stopped supporting OE. As they did when they stopped supporting Photo Editor.....
