It occurs to me as an outsider that Flybe management might actually
want their staff to go to pastures new. It would then mean that the plethora of newly qualified, desperate-to-get-a-job low-hours pilots would jump at the chance of the new "recruitment surge" that would happen and not bother to see how much they are getting paid or how many hours they will be working until far too late.
I guess if people really want change to happen at Flybe, they have to stay there and force the change to happen rather than vote with their feet.
