Apologies for digging up this previous thread. I am specifically referring to an initial A320 TR endorsement training provided by Ansett:
Ansett Aviation Training I am looking at CAO 40.1.0 but would like some guidance on the following:
1. Is it a class rating (not type reting) under Appendix 1A ? Assuming it is,
2. Is it a co-pilot endorsement as opposed to a command endorsement ? Is it necessary to fly the real aeroplane in endorsement training or its final issue (this impacts on cost) ? To answer this question, should I be looking at section 7.2.3 (App 1A Part 5 command endorsement) or section 7.3 (App 1A Part 6 co-pilot endorsement) ? Does it make a difference ?
