Mayoral fund has been set up for donations to the citizens of Christchurch. Donations can be provided using the following BNZ bank account: 02-0800-084958-000

Vodafone’s Red Alert –
Canterbury Earthquake appeal. Also text 333 for Vodafone Customers to donate $3 and text 555 for $5.

Save the Children Fund will take donations on their
website here.
The Salvation Army is running a
Canterbury Earthquake Appeal here. You can also call 0800 53 00 00 or make donations to Westpac account 03 0207 0617331 00.
The
Westpac Canterbury Care Fund now has $1 million available to provide practical assistance for those in need, working with the Salvation Army. Donations can be made online to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal account number 03-0207-0617331-00, and through branches nationwide to the Salvation Army.
UC Student Volunteer Army has a
Facebook page here. Student volunteers are being asked to help in their Christchurch neighbourhoods where it’s safe, and until they can begin working in with Civil Defence.
ANZ New Zealand will donate $1 million towards immediate and long term relief and recovery efforts. Donations to the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal can be made at ANZ account 01-1839-0188939-00
Kiwibank appeal. Donations can be made at any Kiwibank branch – account number: 38-9009-0759479-00
ASB has also opened an account to receive donations: 12-3205-0146808-00 The bank yesterday donated $1 million towards the fund. Donations can be made at ASB branches nationwide, or via online banking. Across the Tasman parent company, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, is also accepting donations for the Red Cross.
Auckland University Students’ Association. Anyone wanting to make a donation should contact the association on 09 309 0789, or make a donation in person around the Student Union Building on the University of Auckland campus.

The Body Shop stores nationwide are accepting donations for the Red Cross appeal.
