I come here to get an indication of what's happening around the traps, even if the info is sometimes a bit rumoury. Aviation is a big industry that's spread across the country so it's often difficult to get the big picture from one port/company/work area. I don't find PPRuNe particularly negative considering that it's largely an employment related forum (as opposed to those based around gaming, rose growing et al.
I've learned a lot about aviation on here over the years from 'negative' (or is that realistic?) posts. I've also had a couple of damn good rants and felt much better
. FWIW I usually have a great day at work but 1. Wouldn't want to bore everyone and 2. Would prefer to stay incognito.
P.S. I've also had many huge laughs from here. It's hardly all bad news!
