I agree to some posts here. If your intention is to live and work in Scandinavia go for the "free" education. This means you have been "pre-approved" but obviously not guaranteed for a job with the Scandi airlines.
If you are not accepted I strongly recommend you go to the US. There the pond is much larger and you can accumulate hours as an instructor and potentially get ME hours at a commuter etc etc. The prospects are just that much better in US than outside.
I have two buddies of mine who did just that and now work as F/O in the middle east. Yes, I think they did enter a 500h 737 program to accumulate the heavy hours, but so what. They are now well paid and as far as I know they don't have anymore debt
The main thing is to find out what you aspire for and find out the "end game" check pprune on etihad, qatar, emirates f/o recruitment and see if this suits your personal path from where you are at now.
