did QF not dispose of some B717's in the past 2 or 3 years? I seem to recall some going to Hawaiian.
They handed some back (they never did fly with Cobhamlink) to the owners (lessees, or is it lessors?) but now that the Mexicans have gone bust and the market is now crawling with RJ wannabees, there are quite a few of the best regional jet in the world just begging for work, which equals cheap leases. So it was a good move by QF.
I see in today's West that Biggles (aka Geoffrey Thomas) reckons that the 717s are 106 seaters. Must the new 717 business class version.
