There may be 2/3 people on the flight deck but not all of them will adhere to SOP's and be as professional as yourself. There is a wonderful set of pictures of a B747 from an asian airline landing
sideways at Kai Tak, when he should have been going around. It's this sort of thing that the ATCO is there for to stop happening by means of sending him around.
