Not sure where you'd be flying out from, but I'm in Perth and if ya have a look airasia they usually have good deals on most of the time, budget airline and all but good for the price in my experience.. Usually can get the same price for a hotel that an agent would if you were booking directly with the hotel on the net.. Most take USD but thats not a problem at the moment.
If you're over east then I guess garuda or jetstar might be your best bet.
Wife and I are goin in just over 2 weeks and we booked it direct ourselves. Gonna cost about $2k for flights and 10 nights at the rani, plus spending money.
