Very interesting mate, I'll have a think about that one, and your silhouette, which I know I've seen recently! Why do we always think that, must be "silhouetter's optimistic syndrome" SOS

Edited to say the caption translates as follows:

Fig. 127. Installation of a modern radial engine (Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp of 1600 hp at 6000 m) in the wing leading edge. The cooling air enters through slits in the wing next to the nacelle.

It looks like a genuine installation, is there any other in-context info? However, I suspect it may be a P&W photo rather than a proper Fokker!!
