To give due credit, BALPA have put a lot of work into the preposals that were forwarded to management and managed to keep cost to a minimum. If its a NO to the company offer, the union must negotiate a good deal for the pilots, not just a satisfactory one, and prove once and for all that they are value for money in an ever changing world not just a no- guarantee semi-insurance policy to call on in case the
hits the fan. Time for the company to shed its skin in terms of small mindedness when it comes to T's and C's. If we're a European Operator now, then reward us appropriately. Stop comparing us to Eastern or Loganair when it suits.
