Indeed, BMIbaby were on their own operating Cork to Gatwick. Then Easyjet arrived in and operated at a loss, pushing BMIbaby out, and then Ryanair came in and eventually pushed Easyjet out, and now Aer Lingus have come in to competewith Ryanair, and time will tell if both can survive on the route.
