We don't really know the true state of BA's finances two years ago. What we do know is that those unions that signed the confidentiality clause and looked at the books (BA) were
convinced enough to agree to cost saving measures in their departments.
BASSA buried their heads in the sand and wouldn't face facts. The rest of the employees in BA made a contribution.
