Really getting annoying now how the LRC - Aer Lingus Managment, Crew & SIPTU and the other unions involved, havent sorted out the rosters dispute still!, 2 more Cork crew removed from the payroll this morning out of 130 employed Cabin crew at Cork, only 8 still remain on the payroll. Air Berlin operated EI710, EI711, EI712 & EI715 to LHR today, will be going back to germany tonight & Monarch operated AMS (Morning Service) & TFS today. Aer Lingus aircraft where used to operate, CDG, LGW, AMS (Evening Service) & LHR (EI722, EI723, EI724, EI725).
Two EI aircraft havent been used for over 9 days now and are parked over by the Servisair & DHL hangers.
Just heard that the old terminal will be cleaned up for an art exhibition which will be on in March. Heard about it on Red fm at 6:00.
Does anyone have anymore information or sources about this?
I suspect its to do with the 60th anniversery which officaly takes place on Oct 16 2011, but looking inside the old terminal its a bit of a tip until u go upstairs to the offices floor so they have a job on their hands.
MUC Cancelled tommorow know too, which leads me to suggest that the ORK schedule will go like this tommorow.
