An interesting question. I am not sure, but my gut feeling is, once your staff travel has been suspended, ( for however long ) regardless whether it is a paper ticket or an e-ticket, you may encounter a problem as your travel will be traceable, I don't know where you are going, if its short or long haul trip, by that I mean if you are in Europe, its not a big deal, if you are some remote island in the Indian Ocean, or the Caribbean, for example, where flights are very restricted and usually oversold, that could cost you some time and expense, so if it looks like a strike may happen, I would have thought, it may be better, for peace of mind, just to buy a standard fare. Clearly, if there is a strike, you won't be paid by Flybe, which may be something to consider. What ever happpens, I hope you have a good holiday.

Perhaps some of the BA Cabin Crew may wish to comment on this one, as they have recent experience of this situation.
