Safety Recommendation 2009-087
It is recommended that the Civil Aviation Authority allocate examiners for the conduct of PPL Skills Tests.
And in response the CAA has adopted in advance, the EASA-FCL policy of letting anyone with the minimum hours and a JAA licence, undergo an examiner course and apply for an Examiner Authorisation.
