Even if it was true and potentially a start up, I can't even see DSA or its owners even wanting to see a new start-up launch there for a while anyway. Obviously a lot rides on things such as new start-up's (pardon the pun
), and that includes the airports reputation.
What DSA needs to be doing is growing the business that it is best at; The charter holiday market. Perhaps see work with TOM to get a larger aircraft in 757 or even add another 738 to the base in the summer. TCX and Thomas Cook holidays seem to be more interested than ever in DSA this summer so hopefully more to come from them. Perhaps a based unit for summer 2012 or more co-operation on TOM flights...
