Sure, I think most would agree, if you get a warning light, you check it out.
But remember, this plane had NUMEROUS emergency landings in the previous few weeks. It obviously was very very well maintained.

I think that if I, and I'd guess that if any of you, had drawn the short straw and ended up this this airframe, knowing it's recent history, and been confronted with a warning, of just about any kind, we'd probably all do exactly the same thing.

As an indication of KAC airlines ability to keep it's people well trained, we see that the the passengers were injured, some of them mortally, during the evacuation. I wonder how much IF ANY training the cabin crew received in evacuation drills.

The thing that keeps coming back to mind is that in Africa kak is the word for sh!t. So everytime this airline is referenced - KAC airlines - all I can do is chuckle at the appropriateness of the name.

Now, if they airline management wishes to change it's ways, get proper training for it's employees, have proper maintenance done on it's airframes, and stop laying the blame on the poor chap who's trying to keep the passengers alive, then I will change my opinion of this KAC airline.
