Even people who have years and years of experience and several advanced degrees are suffering the same treatment at their jobs. This is not unique to the airline industry.
Second thought.
I see many "new" pilots expressing themselves in a way that indicates they are just starting out, and expect to jump to the top of the ladder on their first or second job. That's not the way the world normally works.
