Another disaster or disappointment (however you wish to interpret it) was the demise of the fledgling BOH-CDG metro-liner III carrier (sorry can't think of its name) employing mini hostesses which was cute
Air Metro - their first a/c G-BOJN arrived at BOH late summer 1988 (pictured here on the north side) but never entered service. Believe there were 2 a/c ordered and registered. I seem to remember that there was some sort of tie up or close cooperation between Air Metro and Air Wight at the time but Air Metro folded (believe the backers were IoM based).
