The UK airport stats for Dec 2010 make for some quite shocking reading, not just for BOH.
SOU traffic plunged almost 22% in December, seeing massive losses on UK domestic routes, in the case of SOU-GLA by 50%!
If anything like GLA or EDI had been operating from BOH it would have been unviable, so perhaps it was the right decision for FR to go seasonal for this winter in particular.
EXT passengers plunged but with no real route withdrawals, so my guess is that Flybe are really feeling it there with very low loads.
Just about every airport in the UK has reported bigger falls in passenger numbers than the previous December. No sign of any kind of recovery yet in the UK domestic air travel market.
